Our entity in the United Kingdom is looking for a Key Account Manager to reinforce its Sales department. If you are experienced or deeply interested in wound care, and always wanted to work for a renowned pharmaceutical company, you can be the perfect candidate for this job!
Reporting directly to the Sales Director UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong and long-term relationships with key regional customers and key opinion leaders based within your region. You will resolve external stakeholder queries and increase revenue by promoting our products and collaborating with sales teams to generate new leads.

Your responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for key opinion leader and key accounts development & management to win new business for the country
- You will manage key regional care organizations and other key stakeholders that are based within your region to build new business, and new cooperation and to negotiate, in line with the company guidelines, pricing & margins & ensure that orders are placed for the company to achieve its targets
- You will keep abreast of the changing landscape of healthcare systems and use this knowledge to engage with key and strategic decision-makers
- You will establish constructive relationships with key opinion leaders and dedicated accounts having a large impact at the national or regional level
- You will build partnerships and joint projects supporting the business with international, national, and key regional stakeholders in the country
- You will provide commercial expertise to the region to support strategy through a deep understanding and proactive analysis of all available sales, marketing and health economic data
- You will develop sales plans and actions for new products and calculate their ROI
- You will assist the sales manager/director in building the sales team's effectiveness, building a sales plan on existing products and actively searching for new ways to build the business
- As a key advisor, you will participate in the development and training implementation for the sales teams
Your qualifications & experience:
- You hold a degree in biology, pharmacy, biomedical, economics or equivalent based on relevant experience
- You have 5-10 years of experience in developing relationships with clients and KOLs within the pharma/medical sector
- You have an in-depth knowledge of your territory, purchasing dynamics and tender procedures
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills
- You show a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit
- Data savvy and comfortable with numbers, you demonstrate ability to effectively use Microsoft Office, CRM system & Showpad
- You are a native English speaker
- You hold a valid Driving License
- As a problem solver, you work with your line manager to find innovative approaches to resolve situations and develop your turnover.
