We are looking for a Market Access Manager for an immediate start to reinforce our Marketing Department. This is a permanent full-time position based in our office in Belgium or in Luxembourg.
As Market Access Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing Flen Health’s market access global strategy with a primary focus on European markets for the wound care portfolio, including Flaminal and Flamigel. You act as a key cross-functional partner to Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs and Commercial teams, ensuring that evidence generation, product positioning and reimbursement strategy are fully aligned throughout the product lifecycle.

Your responsibilities:
Market Access Strategy & Value Positioning:
- Define and implement a European Market Access strategy supporting sustainable reimbursement and payer acceptance of Flen Health’s wound care portfolio
- Develop strong value narratives demonstrating the clinical and economic benefits of Flaminal and related products, ensuring clear differentiation versus alternative treatments
- Monitor and analyse European reimbursement landscapes and payer policies affecting wound care and advanced dressings
- Anticipate reimbursement risks, including cost-containment measures and substitution pressures, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Support affiliates in positioning products effectively in local reimbursement and payer discussions
Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR):
- Lead the development and implementation of health economic and outcomes research strategies supporting the value of Flen Health products
- Develop economic models demonstrating the impact of Flen Health products on wound care pathways, including outcomes such as infection reduction, healing efficiency and resource utilization
- Ensure systematic capture and analysis of real-world data supporting economic value and healthcare system efficiency
- Translate clinical and real-world evidence into payer-relevant economic arguments and value dossiers
- Support integration of economic endpoints into clinical studies and observational evaluations
Reimbursement & Payer Engagement:
- Support affiliates and commercial teams in reimbursement negotiations and payer discussions across European markets
- Develop payer communication tools including value dossiers, economic evidence packages and reimbursement argumentation frameworks
- Engage with external stakeholders such as HTA bodies, healthcare authorities and payer organizations when appropriate
- Provide strategic guidance to internal teams on reimbursement requirements and payer expectations
Evidence Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Work closely with Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Affairs to ensure alignment between regulatory claims, clinical evidence and reimbursement positioning
- Contribute to the development of evidence generation strategies for existing products and lifecycle initiatives
- Ensure that scientific differentiation, product classification and clinical performance are effectively translated into economic value propositions for healthcare systems
- Provide input to product lifecycle initiatives and innovation projects to ensure early integration of market access considerations
Affiliate Support & Market Access Tools:
- Provide structured market access guidance to European affiliates
- Develop standardized market access tools, frameworks and value communication materials to support local reimbursement discussions
- Monitor and share best practices and payer insights across markets
- Support affiliates in developing strong local market access strategies aligned with the global value narrative
Market Access Capability Development & Team Mentorship:
- Lead the development and strengthening of Flen Health’s internal Market Access capability
- Provide mentorship, coaching and professional development to the Market Access Specialist, ensuring structured knowledge transfer and capability growth
- Supervise analytical work including payer landscape analysis, literature reviews, and value dossier preparation
- Develop internal processes and tools enabling systematic collection and analysis of health economic evidence and payer insights
- Promote internal awareness of market access requirements through cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing
Your qualifications & experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Economics, Life Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent through relevant professional experience
- At least 7–10 years of experience in Market Access, Health Economics, or Reimbursement within the medical device or healthcare industry, or related therapeutic areas
- Strong experience in European healthcare systems and reimbursement pathways
- Experience interacting with HTA bodies and reimbursement authorities is a plus
- Knowledge of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR)
- Ability to translate clinical and scientific evidence into economic value propositions
- Capability to develop value dossiers and payer communication materials
- Experience supporting payer discussions, reimbursement strategy and value communication
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience supporting payer discussions, reimbursement strategy and value communication
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments involving regulatory, clinical and commercial teams
- Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members is considered an asset
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is a strong asset
