.We are looking for a Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) Manager for an immediate start to reinforce our Medical department and this role will report directly to the Medical Affairs Manager. This is a permanent full-time position, home office. 


As a Clinical Science Liaison Manager, you will support the daily business by delivering clinical expertise and education about the optimal use of the Flen Health product portfolio in the Export markets. You will initiate programs in the field to further collect clinical evidence, develop our therapies and to explore new indications.

Your responsibilities:

1.PRODUCT EXPERTISE

-Act as product and wound care expert for the different Export territories for which you are responsible

-Build and maintain strong international KOL relationships in order to build clinical credibility, generate evidence, shape market perception, inform product development, and extend the company’s strategic reach, through typical KOL engagement activities such as: Advisory boards (virtual or in-person), Speaking engagements (conferences, webinars, …), Co-authored publications, Guideline working groups, etc... 

-With the support of our Export team:

  • Participate in the initiation and completion of clinical evaluations, supporting local data collection where appropriate
  • Initiate/monitor local outcomes data collection where needed to demonstrate product efficacy
  • Collect case reports / case series and actively use those data to demonstrate real-world practice-based evidence and maintain database

-Provide clinical guidance to both customers and the Sales team on pathways incorporating Flen Health products

-Attend relevant national and international symposia/conferences to keep knowledge updated on wound care trends and developments and report back internally

-Support the handling of clinical/medical questions arising from the Export team, healthcare professionals and patients via PMS in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs department

-Guarantee scientific and clinical accuracy of educational and promotional materials


2.EDUCATION

-Create and maintain educational materials and tools for our Export partners and for internal use

-Deliver product training to new employees or new partners

-Keep Export team updated on new articles/publications relevant to wound care

-Support educational activities in the field by giving product presentations to groups of healthcare professionals


3.THERAPY DEVELOPMENT

-Explore new therapeutic areas for our products in cooperation with the wider Medical team and R&D

 

Your qualifications & experience: 

  • You are graduated (Master’s degree) in Medicine, Nursing, Bioscience Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Healthcare Science or equivalent based on relevant experience
  • You have proven clinical experience in the field of the wound care
  • Familiarity with the healthcare system in one of our affiliated countries (BE, NL, UK, ITA or GER) is an asset
  • You have the ability to adapt your communication (oral/written) to meet the needs of different audiences, for example business-focused versus technical audiences
  • You demonstrate strong presentation skills
  • You possess critical data analysis skills and you are eager to work with digital evidence gathering platforms
  • You hold a valid driving license
  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of any other languages (such as Dutch, German or French) is an asset
  • You are willing to travel (30-40%), including overnight stays
